New Jorn 2017

I'm very happy and proud to announce that the new album is finally done.
It's the first original album I've done since Dracula "Swing Of Death", and the first original album under the JORN banner since "Traveller" in 2013. This album was all about working with the best people for the best result, to create a special album we all could be proud of. Release date is set for the 2nd of June 2017. ........
The new album is called "Life on Death Road"

I'll check it out, hoping it's better then Traveller.

I wish he would go back to channeling Whitesnake like he was doing on The Duke. I do like the Dio influenced sound of his more recent albums too, but I agree with DH, Traveller wasn't one of his best releases.

I think he gets too involved with other stuff, hopefully this is getting his full concentration.

I borrowed The Duke and Lonely Are the Brave from the public library for a couple of weeks several years ago. I liked them, but didn't love them. So I never ended up buying any Jorn.

I really liked the artwork though.

He's hit or miss for me. When he hits, it's an all-timer, though. Love his Masterplan work and I LOVE Dracula - Swing of Death. Some of his Solo is fantastic...but it's often mixed with...meh...

Definitely will check it out.

I think his best is with Masterplan, wish they would've stayed together.

New single from upcoming album....

Kind of cheesy lyrics wise and musically very typical Jorn. Don't hate it, he sounds really good it's not a song that makes me want this right away. Of course i'll still check out the album.

I've listned to about half of it so far, and will finish it later today. So far I really like it! He's moved away from the darker Dio style of the last few albums. This one is definitely more 80s influenced. The guitar solos are really cool--much better than on his other albums in this style, like The Duke.
