Get ready for the big switcheroo. 

We hit 70 today but a front is rolling through overnight and we're supposed to get freezing rain. sleet and a little snow by morning.  If the normal patterns hold true it will roll through here then push north to you.   We actually set a new record high of 80 on Valentine's Day last week.  But for STL that's not crazy weather, it's just typical.

That's the thing though. The extended forecast doesn't show any major drop in our temps (down in the 50s then back up into the 60s) for the next 8 days. I'm sure we'll get blasted eventually but as for now, I'll enjoy this stretch.

It was a crisp -23C (-9.5F) with a clear sky when I drove to work this morning. Lucky it wasn't windy because that kind of cold will pierce right through you with the slightest gust.
