Out of all the "classic" metal albums, Holy Diver is one of the few I can still listen to on a regular basis.

I agree...it's an amazing "Classic/80's" metal album that holds up SO well over time. It just doesn't have a dated sound to me. Very heavy and superbly crafted!

Very very good album. Probably Dio's finest hour (at least IMO). Although I really like every Dio album.

"The Last in Line" is also very good.

I feel embaraced to say this, but I never had this album. I had Lock Up The Wolves, Strange Highways, Magica, and Inferno-Last In Live and now I have Magica, Killing The Dragon, Mater Of The Moon, and The Beast Of Dio. For some reason, with a lot of metal legends, I always got recent and best of albums (Judas Priest, Dio, Black Sabbath, etc.). I have future plans to stop that now for I plan on getting this album and older ones from Priest and others. I have heard 6 of the 9 songs on Holy Diver though (I have them on Beast Of Dio and some I downloaded from Limewire).
