I like to play Blue Oyster Cult in the Fall. Probably because of the song "Harvest Moon" plus they generally have some dark themes in their music.

I love Autumn; it's my favorite time of the year. The miserable, friggin' heat/humidity of the summer wanes, the leaves on the trees change to a beautiful array of colors and it includes October which is the one time of the year EVERYONE is into horror movies that I'm into all the time.

I love to celebrate the three masters of the macabre, Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King. I will be reading their short stories all month.

As for listening i love Jethro Tull in the Autumn season and also The Strawbs.
On The Metal side of things - lots of Thrash Metal is on the menu!!

Well, I always crank up Bride's - All Hallow's Eve on Oct. 31. I even made sure I took that cd with me when I lived in Africa so I wouldn't miss it.

If it's gloomy and cold I like Amorphis' - Black Winter Day.

Fall and then Winter are my favorite seasons.

King Diamond - The Puppet Master. I have a copy with a DVD featuring King cheesily telling the album's underlying story like some kind of campfire ghost story, and it's just simply delightful.
