Original Y&T Drummer passes away...

"Leonard Haze, the original drummer for veteran Bay Area rock band Y&T, has died at the age of 61.

Haze was with Y&T through its first dozen years, and though he left the lineup in 1986, he returned for a second stint in 2001, remaining until his second departure in 2006. His other projects included a period of touring and recording with Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan‘s solo band; in recent years, Haze had been performing with his own project, HazeXperience.
According to a press release posted by HazeXperience, Haze was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) several years ago.."
(Y&T bassist Phil Kennemore died back on January 7, 2011)..

Damn. I really liked him. He seemed to have a great sense of humor in the photos and interviews I saw of him. RIP sir.

Not too familiar with him until a couple years ago when I got one of their old "best of" albums. From what I heard, he was a very good drummer. RIP

RIP to one great drummer!!!

Haze was a better drummer then he was ever given credit for and he appeared on the Y & T albums I consider their best.

Y&T and Van Halen....that California sound of having a good time !
