Still workin' my way thru the pile of cheap discs I got from Perris Records over the weekend:

The Prowlers - Point of No Return ...competently played, but fairly dull power/prog metal from Italy. I can see why Perris had marked this one down to 99 cents.

Hells Domain - s/t ... straight up no frills '80s style thrash ala Exodus/Slayer from Denmark. Not original in the slightest but lotsa good friendly violent retro fun. Shoot, they even got Ed Repka to do the album cover. You can't go wrong with a Repka. This one is the pick of my Perris litter thus far.

Serpent Saints, All Things Metal (2012) - Metal-Archives sez this now-defunct Danish band's "lyrical themes" include "Satanism, S/M, Mass murder, Sci-fi, Black Magic" so they obviously know how to party. This is sloppy but effective retro-thrash; they sound like a band you might have found buried deep on Side 2 of a "Metal Massacre" compilation in 1985 and then never heard from again.  Grrr! Beer! Sluts! Metal! Yarrrrrr!
