So which is better - The Accept version with David Reece from the reviled Eat The Heat Album, or the cover U.D.O. did on A Tribute To Accept Vol. 2 (it's also on Celebrator)?

It may be sacrilege, but I really love the Accept version. It's a real stomper of a track and David Reece's vocals compliment the music superbly. I have no idea why they chose that smoking turd "Generation Clash" as the single for this album, when they had X-T-C to offer.
The U.D.O. cover is very good and it's no wonder Udo chose to cover the track. It fits his vocals like a glove.

Hands down the Accept version. So good. I like that record a lot. Maybe if I had been a long-time Accept fan when it came out and felt I had been suckerpunched with this different of an album then maybe I wouldn't like it.
But as it's own album, it's pretty awesome to me.

I'm not familiar with either version, but after listening to both, I'd give the nod to Udo's version by just a hair. The original Accept version isn't bad either though.

This is the first time I heard either version of the song. It's a really good tune. I think I'd go with the U.D.O. version.

I wasn't even aware that U.D.O. had cut a version of this song.
The Reece version is one of the better songs on Eat the Heat tho.
