I think with a few listens Presto would grow on you but never be an upper-tier Rush album and I hadn't jammed that Riff Raff in probably 5 years. I jammed so much obscure '70s for a period of about 10 years that I kinda burned myself on it.

I seem to be in that phase you're talking about. I've been scouring the web for heavy psych, early metal, hard prog, canterbury scene, acid folk, pretty much every prog subgenre, etc. It's a rewarding search more often than not.

dude thanks for the recs, i'll have to add those to the ever growing list. i've only heard gravy train, bang, and buffalo, and heard of suck and missus beastly.

that Miles live album is insane, chew. probably one of my favorite releases i've heard from the dude.
