I was just digging back into my Therion catalog earlier this week. I've sort of moved on from the whole "symphonic metal" style but something about Therion still resonates with me.

I'm surprised this band is on Earache Records. I thought that label specialized in "metal" bands; I'd say these guys are more in the sleaze-metal vein. Sort of like GnR.

I hadn't heard it for years and for about a week the thought of listening to it has been boring a hole in my head and I always knew it was a good album but tonight I realized just HOW good.
I was just digging back into my Therion catalog earlier this week. I've sort of moved on from the whole "symphonic metal" style but something about Therion still resonates with me.
I don't care for most symphonic metal but these guys did not spew up usual musical cliches, of course they did help event some of them that over run symphonic metal bands.
