Hell yeah. When I think of Lemmy - road dog tough - Biff is right there - I know Lemmiy - got his name from " let me " as in let me have 5 bucks - Anyone know origin of Biff ? Anyways - TREMENDOUS lyric writer - like Hallford - The Robert Plant of Heavy Metal - warrior - viking ! Has he done any side projects ? Or any tribute song Cd release ?

Me neither! I bought my first Saxon record in 1980 and I only know Biff Byford, after that I would not have a clue about the band members past or present which is weird because there was a time in my childhood that I was pretty obsessive about this stuff.

I believe you, but find it hard to comprehend why. Saxon are legends and their history in NWOBHM and heavy metal in general is well documented. And it's not like they play a very marginal type of music, though they do lean more on cult than commercial. Especially when it comes to public exposure.
If you know the members of Raven and/or Diamond Head, there's no excuse not to know who plays in Saxon.
