Under Lock & Key: What's the Worst Song?

This discussion was bantered about in the Reunion Albums thread, so I thought it would be fitting to create a poll involving these three songs, since they were the three that were mentioned.

Jaded Heart gets my vote.

I HATE - " It's Not Love " - then they went and played it in concert -
then during the song - they had a sing along part in the middle -
It was a double whammy - I looked at the crowd in total disbelief -
Don yells it - 1/4 of crowd repeats it - HATED IT -
and I really like Dokken - ohhhhh but that one song though -
even on the LP release " no...no...you cant have me "....that talk jive -
He was trying to do a David Lee Roth 'Unchained' talk jive - failed -

Under Lock and Key is my favorite Dokken album, and is pretty much the only one I reach for when I want to hear them.

I like Jaded Heart. And I love Will the Sun Rise.
Slippin' Away is kind of mediocre in my opinion, though. So it gets my vote.

Those are the three worst songs on the album. Will The Sun Rise is the most tolerable, followed by Jaded Heart then last and least, Slippin' Away.

Of those songs, "Slippin' Away" is the only one I don't like. I really like "Will The Sun Rise."

As I said in the previous thread I always thought Will The Sun Rise was one of the BEST songs on the album.

IMO Jaded Heart is one of Dokken's best ballads (second to Alone Again).

They're all quite wonderful. But if I was forced to choose, Slippin' Away is a tad syrupy..but I still love it.

Same here, like I stated in the "Reunion" thread. I don't hate the song, but it's the worst on ULAK.

Same here. I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a Dokken fanboy per se, but I don't have any problems with those 3 songs.

I would agree that it is the worst of their ballads, but for me still enjoyable. In fact, that give me an idea for another poll...

slippin away...jaded heart is actually my favorite track on the album.

slippin' away is my least fave on the album, but I don't dislike it. Just not their best attempt at a ballad.
