About 6 am this unidentified, alien sound woke me from a dead sleep...I sat in the pre-dawn gloom for a minute trying to figure out the source of that confounded sound. Then it hit me...RAIN! It's been so long since I heard it I couldn't identify it. Then I immediately went back to sleep...

Possibility of some more showers this afternoon, aside from that it's partly sunny and about 72 degrees at the moment here smack dab in the center of soggy LA.
