Europe--War of Kings (2015)

This just came out today. It's really heavy on the 70's hard rock sound. If someone told me these tracks were all lost Return to Fantasy-era Uriah Heep songs I wouldn't doubt it. It could have used one or two more upbeat songs, but overall a nice album for what they were trying to do. It doesn't come anywhere near Last Look at Eden though.

Sounds like an extension of Bag of Bones, maybe a little more 70's.

I checked out the title track from this about a week ago and thought it was cool. I read about this coming out a few weeks ago on another music forum and it was sad reading so many close minded posts about how it sux and the last few albums have been shite and Europe hasn't made a good album since 1991and blah, blah, blah. What do people expect an eighties band who listened to 70's rock and metal to sound like?

Nice. I will be getting this one. Vocals are still good!
