Deathgasm - New Movie

Do you like Heavy Metal and cheesy, gore-filled comedy/horror movies?  If the answer is yes, then it looks like you may like Deathgasm:



The song in the trailer is Skull Fist - "Hour To Live"

That looks cool, kind of a cross between Todd and the Book of Pure Evil and Evil Dead II.

Ironically I just watched a horribly horrible way below B movie called High 8 that had a skit about an unreleased horror movie called, you guessed it Deathgasm.

Go figure.

Looks like a hoot. Dudes in black metal makeup, beheadings, chainsaws, what's not to like???

This movie was f*cking awful, unfunny, not even "so bad it's good." The Skull Fist number is the best part. More in "Today I Watched."

Netflix has this up. Just watched it. I think it's supposed to be more of a comedy than a serious horror flick. I got a few laughs from it.

I see Ant Timpson is a producer.  He's the guy behind ABCs of Death.

I was surprised to find this one at my public library (!) a month or two ago. I would describe it as "Trick or Treat" meets "Evil Dead 2" - it was dumb as a box of rocks but I was entertained. My wife haaaaaated it though,  hahaha!

I looked it up on IMdb.com and that led me to a list of the 32 goriest movies. 

I own 16 of the 32 and have seen 4 more.  I must be slacking; I need to check out the rest.  Deathgasm is #32.

If anyone is interested, I got a little personal in a piece I wrote about Deathgasm back when I first watched it on VOD (have seen it several more times since then).

It got a lot more views than the normal stuff I post about, as the Deathgasm Facebook page ended up sharing it on their feed.

I'm not a horror movie enthusiast normally, but I watched this for the metal aspect. Because I'm so f**kin' METAL. Anyway, it was entertaining enough.
