I always loved the sound of this album. The guitars are wonderfully edgy and abrasive, the bass is clearly audible and punchy, the drums are HUGE (but still sound like real drums) and the gang vocals are appropriately over the top. Then you've got Udo howling like a demonic cat in heat as the icing on the metal cake.

Yeah, sometimes we just aren't in the right frame of mind to appreciate things. Countless times over the years I've heard an album or a band and thought "no" and then at some point later I hear it again and it clicks and then I wonder "what the hell was wrong with me before?".
