Same here Freddy. Here's to a year without battling cancer (feline) for the whole year. Godiva was diagnosed with a bladder tumor the second week of January and thus ensued a year of surgeries and chemo treatments only to have me have to put her to sleep 6 days before Christmas this year.

Bah, humbug! I hate the holidays anyway and this was just another log on the fire.

Bring on 2015!

Well for me, this year was a great one. I actually held a job down for a whole year and the future looks promising (I hope to move into management this year).

Not for my mom though. She had a septic back up which caused her house to flood this past Summer. Had to have carpet removed which was replaced with a wood floor, among several other repairs and costs. Then she lost her job the day after Thanksgiving (no severance or warning either). Worst is she has to last another year for medicare and she can't afford insurance on her own (she makes too much for a subsidiary because her late husbands retirement earns her "too much" money). Luckily, I have enough room in my budget to help out with some of the bills.

My year was also shit. I'm surprised there're no holes in the walls; therapy is right around the corner. This year better be good for a change. Good for all of us. And good for DB's mom (damn dude that sucks).
