I was gonna say, "all the time," especially today cuz my oldest son turns 12 years old (!) ....but 179 years old? Dude has me beat. Nevermind.

I feel it could be a hoax, but they also say they have "documents" and "certificates" to support their claim.......... I am still in disbelief.

My first reaction was this has to be a hoax. I don't think it's possible for anyone to live that long anymore.

I obviously am not old, and really apart from some aches and pains, I don't really feel like it (except when my back acts up on me). However, I do feel like I should be younger than I am. Seems like so many years were wasted on frivolous dreams and wasted career ventures. However, I can't so no use in crying about it. Eddie Money put it best:

Old is a mentality. I think George Carlin nailed it when he talked about people being "old" in their 20s and seeing people who are elderly and decrepit who have that "spark" about them. Seems to bear out.
I get annoyed that there are things that are harder in my 30s than they were in my 20s or teens, but meh, it's the price of admission. As long as I can stay amused and keep having interesting experiences, check out cool music, and keep feeding my mind... Hell, that's it's own form of immortality. Good stuff too.
That said, if anyone finds the fountain of youth, get me the GPS coordinates first so I can beat the rush.

Yeah - when young chicks ( mid twenties ) look at me with an expression .... like, as if they just drank a gallon of sour pickle juice

Pff.. I look at girls in the first half of their 20s and go, "Ugh. You look like a kid." I flip the script.
