Damn... My supervisor saw my crate I posted on facebook. He's like why don't you take them from here when we get them? Cause we get the all the time too but I thought they we weren't allowed so I never bothered asking. I work at the post office so they don't really let you take anything haha, but now that he said I can take them I'll have to look more often for good ones.

I work at a paper mill and while they are free we can't personally take them. You have to request maintenance for one then they take them off site and dump them across from an old Victorian Home that our plant owns. Problem is they are first come first serve and get picked over pretty quick especially the good ones. When I first asked for him my buddy took them to the drop site but by the time I got off work they were gone. He had some oak ones that were pretty nice and someone snagged them before I got them. Then when I went in on a Saturday one of the maintenance guys saw my truck and just loaded them in the bed. Said if they gave me crap just to call him to the gate guard and he would say they are mine.

Now I just need a table saw.

I have enough trouble assembling an Ikea flat pack! Making anything from a pallet (apart from maybe a broken pallet  Embarassed ) would be completely beyond me surprised

Good work though Very Happy

It's easier than you think! Trust me, I am not mechanically inclined at all and normally the simplest tasks baffle me beyond words. If I was able to do this, anyone can
