A unique band. Prog Metal definitely; but very German. They add some Gamma Ray to thier SymphonyX approach. But the thing that I really like about them is that they incorporate some hard rock into their songs too...some Scorpions, and even a Queen influence in their early years! Nice Piano too. Nobody sounds like them.
