Scandi-Thrash/Speed 85-05

I, personally, consider Stone, Equinox, Prestige, and most of the other POKO bands "Speed Metal".  Who has an opinion on real Scandi-THRASH from back in the day?  National
Napalm Syndicate, Mokoma, Airdash, etc.

Ok - Changed my mind - include Scandi-Speed. And include new stuff like Decadence [Sweden].

Well ... Finland is not in Scandinavia

I guess you can't go wrong with Mezzrow (Bay Area clones), or Agony, but the one strongly recommended should be Omnitron's Masterpeace album - not for anyone, though ...

The best Scandi-thrash by far is Artillery, in my opinion.

And from Finland, I really dig those bands and albums from ~ 1990, with a style of their own - Airdash, Statue, Warmath, later Stone etc.

I always thought Finland was part of Scandinavia. I live in a heavy Scandi region and the Fins have never complained when being mentioned with the Swedes, Norskes, and Danes. But maybe that is just a hockey thing.

I've seen big arguments about whether Finland & Iceland are part of Scandinavia and they are not. If you include them the region is called the Norse Countries.

As for bands, I'll throw in Hexenhaus (the Swedes not the Finish Hexenhaus)
