Not metal in the slightest, but any Degarmo and Key fans here? I love these guys, from their southern rock beginnings to their new-wavey middle period, to their AOR later career. So, any fans? Favorite albums?

That D&K album was pretty AOR/hard rock, had a Kenny Loggins vibe to it! That was an early cassette for me, even before Petra. I loved it. To be honest I haven't heard anything else from them. I suppose now's a good time.

I particularly recommend: This Time Thru Straight On This Ain't Hollywood Streetlight The Pledge To Extremes
Those first three are southern-tinged classic rock, while the last three are more AOR.

Not one of my favorites but they are enjoyable. A Best Of is all I need. Saw them live around 84 or 85. Had no idea who they were and I enjoyed the show. It was outside somewhere at a theme park and mike Warnke was there too.

One of my high school buddies was a big fan so I used to hear'em while hanging out with him, but it's been so long that I couldn't even tell you what albums/songs he had.

I had a couple of their cassettes back in the day and saw them live once. Outside of a few interesting tracks on the tapes I had, they didn't do too much for me.

Always thought this was a beautiful, well-written ballad.

Never heard of them. After listening to a few clips, I'm gonna have to keep it that way.

Haven't listened to them in a while. Back when I became a Christian and would listen to almost exclusively Christian and Christian related music, I came accross one of their albums on the cheap at the clearance section of a Christian bookstore. I remember it not being that bad. Then again that was before I really hit my MHR/AOR fanboy phase (I've always liked those genres, but not as much as I started to several years ago).
Yeah some of their stuff is pretty good.... their D&K album is probably my favorite, but their live album with the live version of Long Distance Runner was good as well...
