Susanne Sundfør

I know kmorg will probably know who she is, but anyone else? I almost worship this woman, so.....uh, I thought I might share my mania. Susanne is possibly my favorite female vocalist.

"The Silicone Veil" is an album which might offhand be described as "indie-pop" or what have you, but it's much more rich and authentic then any kind of Arcade Fire soundalike or Tori Amos throwback one may expect. She also handles a bunch of instruments including the classic Fender Rhodes.

Her music videos are always incredibly dark, perhaps to the point of being terrifying/hilarious, but that just makes me like her more.  









oh yeah and she sang the title track for the film "Oblivion" which is how I discovered her.

I like it, how much I don't know, by next week I'll absolutely love her or will have forgotten her. Impossible to tell with this kind of stuff on one listen, but I definitely be hearing more.

Question. How do you do the crazy viking O's? Do you have a viking keyboard or is it a viking setting

She has a performance on YouTube where she did a piano only set at some kind of university or business which is pretty amazing also.
