Yea, I guess I'm that way too. The wife usually buys creamy for the kids, so that's what I eat. If she switched it up, I'd eat that too.

Black currant was a favorite when I was still eating PB&J more regularly. Really GLOP them both on too, don't wuss out on making that sandwich put you in a diabetic coma. Laughing

My wife makes homemade crunchy and creamy PB, as well as homemade blackberry, blueberry, and choke cherry (the list goes on but those are my favorites) jams. jellies, and preserves. The benefit of marriage to a hillbilly from West Virginia.

Either creamy or crunchy, though when faced with the choice I usually opt for crunchy. Classic grape jelly is probably my favorite companion, though strawberry jam, honey, and apple butter are also very good. Another thing I've done is to make toast, put the peanut butter (either variety) on while the toast is still hot so it melts a bit, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Mmmmm, cinnamon sugar...

My sister-in-law has a peanut allergy as well and my brother, who loves all things peanut butter, has had to give it up. They can't even have the stuff in the house. She is so sensitive that when the kids were little, if they would happen to have a peanut butter cookie in Sunday School and would give her a kiss on the cheek, she would start to swell up where they kissed her.
