Anyone pick up Gus's solo album? This kind of fell under the radar but it's a killer melodic hard rock album.

I've been listening to it here and there; it's good. Not mind-blowing or anything, but enjoyable. He's got a decent tone here.

Yea it's an ok album with some gems on here and this album actually has some of Gus G's more melodic solos. I actually prefer that from him over the shred. There are some faster songs (especially the instrumentals) that keep the album flowing pretty well.
I'd give it a solid 7/10.. Like you said, nothing mind-blowing but a solid hard rock album with some gems!!

Not bad, I would be interested in owning it, to take it all in. I saw him live play with Ozzy, and the set was of course was just the usual Ozzy standards but he was good I became a fan,

Melodic hard rock now? Maybe he should team up with Liapakis and the rest of the Devil's Train crew...

Great cd, buy or die if you are into hard & heavy music because many great songs on it. Really a surprise for me. Doesnt sound like his other bands. This is classic hard rock with some metal too. Really good.
