I'm looking forward to it. I have yet to see Ted but Seth seems pretty good at this directing bit.

I saw the movie on Friday.
Funny stuff. The scene after "The End" is displayed on screen, but just before the credits roll, is comedy gold.

I'd like to see it. I thought Ted was pretty good and I like McFarlane's various shows on tv so this should be no different.

I'll probably rent it once it comes to Redbox. I usually reserve big action, Sci-Fi and cartoon (Pixar, Dreamworks, etc.) movies. Comedies, Drama and scary movies I will usually watch at home.

I'm not a fan of McFarlane's work, but I think that movie looks hilarious.

I damn near snorted my drink thru my nose when the trailer was on TV and Charlize Theron was teaching Seth how to fire a gun at a bunch of empty soup cans on a fence. Seth sez something like "Get ready, I'm going to shoot my full load at your cans."
...when my kids asked why that was so funny, I sez "Never mind."

Well, this movie crashed and burnt pretty quickly, didn't it? I just got an e-mail from Hastings offering me a pre-order price on the DVD.

Shockingly, the wife actually suggested going to see this movie. Long-story-short, the kids are gone this weekend and she has an AMC gift card burning a hole in her purse. We haven't been to the movies in God knows how long.
Now if we could only find this in a theater.

I liked this movie. I always dig MacFarlane's humor though.

I tried to get through this last night on cable. I lasted a little over an hour. It had a few moments and seemed like it could've been really funny. The set-up and jokes were right there, but just didn't deliver any impact.
It confirmed my opinion that Seth McFarlane isn't that funny, just lucky.

I caught this on HBO a few weeks back and laughed my a$$ off. I really didn't expect to like it and really did.

I would agree except for Ted, which I thought knocked it out of the park (even if it was a little overlong).
This movie I felt had about 40 minutes of funny material in 90 minutes.
Nothing will ever come close to Blazing Saddles, that is an untouchable classic with more funny moments than your average 50 comedies combined.
