| Just ponder...
If Vinnie Vincent signed his contract with KISS in 1983 and stayed in the band. The better songs on Animalize combined with the better songs on Vinnie Vincent Invasion would have been a better album than what we got from either band. (IMHDO)

| VVI is just more interesting... IMO. The KISS record would have been enhanced, but not really...something substantial that they absolutely couldn't do without Vincent. There's no room for a Vinnie Vincent in KISS. | |

| Sure, why not ? It would make a great album even better. I'm curious what the Invasion songs would sound like with Gene or Paul singing on them. | |

I would rather hear Mark fart than Gene or Paul ruining them.

| Eh, I'd rather hear Gene or Paul than whiny Mark Slaughter any day. And it was Robert Fleischman that sang on the first VVI album (not to be pedantic). | |

| It would've been interesting but since I'm a bigger fan than most of Animalize and VVI I'm happy things went the way they did. | |

| I kinda feel like things worked out for the best.
The first VVI album destroys (though I'm not as into the second). I wish more had materialized as far as a third album went, with Fleischman back. That little Euphoria thing is cool. I'd love a fully-realized third record.
I'd be into a new VVI record now, with Fleischman on vox (I guess he can still sing? I have no idea).

| Gene would've eventually chopped Vinnie's head off ala "Highlander" screaming "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!" There's only room for so many giant egos in that band, the addition of Vinnie's raised things to Critical Mass. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
