I'm a huge fan of Mike Patton's contributions, and this one is no exception. My wife hates it though.

I actually only became a fan of Mike Patton's FNM after hearing that first Mr. Bungle. I was a big Chuck Mosely guy so I naturally had to protest The Real Thing. Plus when I saw them open for Billy Idol they had all kinds of problems and came off unready to be playing big arenas. I dig when a guy like Patton can get some success and then go off and do other stuff that isn't as commercially viable. And for twenty plus years he's continued to do so. His record label puts out some great things too.

Mr. Bungle is awesome. My fiance doesn't like it either but I understand why. Its way too weird for everyone to like it. All of their albums are great. I wish they would make a come back. Disco Volante was really out there, barely any music on that one haha.
If you like Mike Patton and Mr. Bungle, check out Dog Fashion Disco or even Polkadot Cadaver. Both very similar bands to Mr. Bungle.

I like them a lot. I keep trying to get into more of Mike Patton's stuff, as he's an excellent musician. But aside from Mr. Bungle and Peeping tom I just cant. Tomahawk is just kinda boring to me, and Fantomas is too weird for the most part, even for me.

I liked their first album. But after that I didn't care for any of their other stuff.

I'm a big fan of Faith No More and Mike Patton, but I haven't really dove into Mr. Bungle aside from the first album. I like it, but it's not a favorite or anything. It's an interesting listen when I'm in the mood for it.

Mr Bungle has some full blown thrash songs! It definitely has a lot to do with Dave Lombardo and Scott Ian joining. The Slayer and SOD influence is very clear. So far what I’ve heard is far removed from the sound of the other albums.

Heard those songs the other day and really liked them. I don't own anything from them, but that might change soon.
