R.I.P. Harold Ramis

It's a shame. The man had some good movies on his resume.

RIP. I always liked him.

Wow ! That's shocking to me. An excellent comedic writer and I also enyoed him in Stripes.


  

That's a bummer. I've never set foot on a golf course but I can quote "Caddyshack" chapter and verse... and I just introduced my boys to the "Ghostbusters" films within this past year. My 11 year old still quotes his favorite "Egon" line from time to time ("We'd like a sample of your brain tissue.")

What a shame... There was talks of a final Ghostbusters movie.

 

I just watched Animal House in his memory.

 

I can't even describe how surprising this was. I'm a huge and i mean really huge Ghostbusters fan and i always hoped for a third Ghostbusters movie, then thought the Video Game in 2008 was the third movie and hoped for more games in that way.

At least the discussions are over, i hope there won't be a third Ghostbusters movie with a different cast, a reboot or "next generation" type of bullshit. Robocop shows that Reboots are dead.

Of course Ramis worked on a lot more great movies, Stripes, Groundhog Day, Meatballs, Caddyshack. A lot of great movies.
