No getting around the Whitesnake comparison but there's a lot of 70's in there.

This actually sounds better than I expected. I dunno. I thought it might be more "light weight" or something. For the right price I could be persuaded. Is Doug providing the vocals too?

Singer is Keith St. John who has been in bands called Big Trouble and Medicine Wheel. Never heard either. This version also has Sean Mcnabb on bass who has played with Dokken and Great White and Matt Starr who has played with Beautiful Creatures.

It's something I'll be keeping an eye out for. Thanks.

Amazon has a store called Rock and Pop listing it for 6.93 and they're on the east coast.
This always pops up on my amazon "you might like" list of recommendations. Never took the time to listen to any samples till now. Good stuff. From the recommendations list to the want list it goes.
Doug and his band, Burning Rain, have a new album coming out March 1st
Face the Music 01. Revolution 02. Lorelei 03. Nasty Hustle 04. Midnight Train 05. Shelter 06. Face The Music 07. Beautiful Road 08. Hit And Run 09. If It’s Love 10. Hideaway 11. Since I’m Loving You
I don't own any Burning Rain, but I kinda dig what I hear. Maybe I should get me some.

Big time Doug Aldrich fan here. I "love" the Lion albums and recently tracked down the Bad Moon Rising box set. These guys are on the Want List as well. All in due time. Thanks for the bump and info, MG.

BTW, somehow I missed it's Keith St. John from Kingdom Come singing. Derp.
Alright, so I tracked down the first two Burning Rain discs (found 'em buried at the bottom of a box at my local haunt) fairly recently and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I have been spinning the last two (the 2 mentioned in this thread) on youtube the last few days and they are great. The riffs and vox are top notch. I find a ton of hooks here with great choruses. Kind of reminds me of latter day Lynch Mob as the singer and other musicians have been involved with the scene/ musicians from the 80's in various projects. It's modern sounding, but not modern down tuned or generic; at least to my ears. It's good bluesy hard rock! The "Face the Music" disc is pretty easy to get and I am probably grabbing a copy from ebay tonight; but the "Epic Obsession" disc is nowhere to be found on the bay. It might be on Amazon, but they aren't shipping anything non essential for obvious reasons; and I am strongly thinking of boycotting them over their treatment of their workforce. When the shops open up again in a few weeks/ months, then I will probably run across this one somewhere.
