It's raining today.

Going to hit the mid-90s this afternoon, think I'm going to head to the beach where it's usually about 7 or 8 degrees cooler than it is downtown. Either that or I'm going to find an indoor mall with a movie theater and spend the entire day there.

Yuck.

I'm nothing short of f*cking pissed. This weather has made me into a monster and our PGE bill is SOARING. I haven't been able to keep up with it, and no matter what we cut out or how high we set the AC it hits the ceiling. This week was supposed to be a break, finally reaching 90-93, but I guess that was a joke among forecasters as the forecast shot up to 100-102. And we've got multiple wildfires up north, a drought, and I've got a broken A/C in the car. F*ck this heat wave. It's only adding insult to injury.

Take a deep breath....then take solace in the fact that in mid-January when the rest of the country is freezing their asses off and shoveling snow from their driveways it will be 72 degrees and sunny here in Cali.

Haha, right now shoveling snow sounds awesome! Or Springtime. God, there's nothing like Spring in CA.

I love that kind of heat. Probably because I don't have to deal with it practically at all, but when we visit relatives in Phoenix in the middle of summer, I'm loving it while every that lives there is complaining.

It got over 100 eventually. It almost never gets that hot here, this is the hottest it has been in the 3 years I've been here. September is usually the hottest month overall though, but still, the weather this week has been almost 15 degrees above the average.

97 here today as well. But on Thursday it's supposed to drop to 88! Lord let that figure stay put.
