8-12 inches of snow on the way between tonight and tomorrow followed by a high of zero on Monday.

It that holds true this will be the coldest weather this area has seen in about 20 years.

Yikes! Stay warm!

Just shoveled about 6 inches of snow off the driveway and it's still coming down at about an inch per hour.  But I'd rather shovel multiple times when it's manageable each time than try to move over a foot of snow at one time.

And now the high for tomorrow is supposed to be -3.  The HIGH?!?!?!?  The list time the "high" was a negative number here was 1989.  Yikes!

Wow, you know it's bad when the local ski resort is closed.

47 and overcast. The big deep freeze comes tomorrow night. They're saying we may hit 15 below !

My driveway after the second time I shoveled it today.  The snow is so powdery that I think about a third of what I shoveled the second time was snow I also shoveled the first time.  About 10 inches total.   That's my neighbor's kid's car which ended up being buried behind about 3 feet of snow thanks to the city plows.

I have about 8 inches of snow.......it's -10 degrees and -30 windchill.

Not going outside.

35 and windy right now..... about to get the artic chill tonight, low of 0 to 5 with wind chill factor of -15 to -25..... not as bad as some areas, but still will be brutal

-38 wind chill this morning with actual air temp of -8.  We're colder today than Anchorage, Alaska.

I was reading how a large part of the country is in a cycle of deep freeze just circling around.

We've had no snow which is unusual and has people crying but it's been below freezing much of the time.
