I couldn't find any mention of these guys so I thought I'd start a thread because they are great! Discovered them while looking for the Night Demon 7" and they are just fantastic heavy metal.

They are from Pittsburgh

Certainly has it's bit of charm. I'd have to listen to a bit more and see if anything really stands out though. I'm almost to my limit on "retro" bands coming out of the woodwork over the last year or 2. They over-saturate my soft brain and all start to ooze together.

Why is it that a band with 70's influences are "retro" but a band that sound like they are from the 80's aren't? It's the term that I'm a bit sick of.

Corsair are great!! Their S/T release made in into my top 2013 releases. And I was lucky enough to see them twice last year and they are fantastic live!!!

They recently started up a kickstarter thing to tour Europe this year. And they also have a new album coming out this spring.

Cool, I heard them and bought the album and the two EP's, I'm really sold on them.
