Reunited New York progressive thrash metal band Toxik have apparently announced In Humanity as the name of their new album, which is due for release this spring and will be their first since 1989′s Think This. On the artwork and current status of the album, drummer Jason Bittner wrote:
“Last thing for today………..what y’all think about the TOXIK cover art coming your way this spring?? We have started to mix a few songs so this should be out by mid year!!”

Would definitely like to hear what they've come up with after all this time.
That cover is wicked!

Interesting. I'll have to pull out their old albums and give them a fresh spin. It's been ages since I listened to them and then determine whether I care or not about new material. Cool cover though.

Never listened to these guys. I should check them out.
On a related note, am I the only one that thinks that looks like a baby King Diamond on the cover?

I hope that cover art is done by Ed Repka. Looks like it might be. That is the only way I will truly accept a Toxik release. Pretty excited for this regardless. A lot of the extended layoff releases the last few years have been way better than they had any right to be. Hope this follows that trend.

Hell yes, they have a stacked line-up this time around. Almost like it's impossible to suck (knock on wood)

I have already accepted they wasn't going to use a Repka cover.
