I am a college football guy but I was watching the Bucs/Seahawks game yesterday and was reminded why I hate sports announcers. Both announcers insisted on calling Ronde Barber, "Rondy" Barber.

BTW, it's pronounced "Terrrrrell" Owens not "Tehrel" Owens.

I personally can't stand Paul Maguire...he annoys me to no end. Strangely, I loved the Dan Fouts - Dennis Miller era of MNF.....I think I was one of about 7 who did.

Favorite team is the Vikings, and the packers are a distant second. It will be a long year for both teams, but hey, they both started out with a win!

Yes it is, and most people can't understand how as a lifelong vikings fan I can possibly cheer for the packers at all. I grew up in Minnesota, and moved here to wisconsin 10 years ago. I'm still a die hard vikings fan. I will be until the day I die. But, even when I lived in Minnesota, I never really hated the packers, I just hated the bears (always will!). There must be something in the water here, because slowly but surely I found myself starting to root for the packers more and more the longer I lived here. Now, the only time I root against the packers is when they play the vikings. Also, my wife is a lifelong wisconsinite, and a die hard packer fan. I'm trying to raise our daughter (who's 4) to be a viking fan, but at this point, she's a packer fan, because "Mommy likes the packers". Oh well.

Yeah, I think that when children in Wisconsin and Minnesota are given their vaccinations they add a chemical that automatically makes them hate the bears! I think there's laws in both states that make "rooting for the bears" a criminal offense!

etc. Stay on your side of the Cheddar curtain, drink yourself
into oblivion, and keep searching for those mushrooms your think are so
delicious under the cow patties and we will be fine. I believe
Dahmer, Gein, and Spanbauer were all Packer fans. The only thing
I like better than a Vikes win is a Pack loss!
