I'm not talking about so-bad-it's-good, cheesy ridiculous videos like Separate Ways, Rock Me Tonight, Bewitched or those black metal videos from the '90s.
I'm talking about music videos that simply suck so much it's painful to watch.

First off I like Wham. Careless Whisper is beautiful and haunting.

Second, George Michael was great at what he did. A very original songwriter.

But this...this has got to be the worst thing ever.

The song is bad enough, the video is a portrait of hell. What a weird angle for a pop duo. It's like they were going for teenage girls' hearts everywhere by creating a song fit for second-grade circle time, and a video dripping with cloyingly sweet triteness. And a stupid title. Bravo/pity to whoever makes it through the whole thing.

Years ago (somewhere around the "Mindcrime II" era, I think) a reporter friend of mine interviewed Geoff Tate for the newspaper we both worked for. He e-mailed me that morning and said "Got any questions you want me to ask him?" ... so I sez "Yeah, ask him when they're going to do a video that continues the "Queen of the Reich" story, the end of that video sez "TO BE CONTINUED" and I've been waiting twenty years to find out what happens next!"

I'm not sure which is worse, the singer's voice or his dance moves. Laughing very hard

Actually, I kinda dig that song despite the cheesy singer. I may look into finding a copy to put on my '80s hard rock/metal mp3. I like cemeteries, so the video is A-OK with me.

OK, that Honeymoon Suite video is awful, especially when the guy is running. I've been listening to Honeymoon Suite's first album on Spotify lately because I like their song "Burning In Love." I haven't heard "Feel It Again" before. The album it's on is not on Spotify. The studio version is on a compilation called Power Ballads. Doesn't sound like a ballad to me.

Consider the times with Dire Straits, todays standards Id say its definitly silly but back then it was hi-tech.
