| After reading your updated review of No Rest..., I need to break that one out again for a fresh spin. I haven't heard it in a long time, but I don't recall it being overly saturated with keyboards.
And that young pic of Zakk is hilarious. He looks about 15. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

And that young pic of Zakk is hilarious. He looks about 15. It's not that the keyboards are taking over the show, it's just the plastic feel of them that sounds so much worse today, than they did back in '88. And yeah, Zakk was half the man he is today, literlarly (sp?)! _________________

| It certainly wouldn't surprise me if that were the case. I do tend to pick up on that "80's sterile production" allot more these days on albums of that era. It's just been so long since I listened to NRFTW that I didn't notice it at the time. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | NRFTW is so damned good. I go to that one just as much as Diary, when I want a dose of Ozzy. | |

Kinda lame that they released a promo item with an exclusive track to promote the box set. Not sure why those who bought the box set didn't get this promo as well. Or at least the song.

I think it was also offered as a free dowload at a time. It was offered as a free download to all those who purchased the box set. It was one of those cuts that was released to promote both Ultimatum and Join the Dead, but anyone who purchased the box set was given the free download code. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

BTW, Eyesore. Those promos are CDRs anyway. You'd be disappointed either way.

I'm listening to No Rest as I type this and I still don't hear the keyboards as that prominent or distracting. They are definately more present in the 2nd half of the album, but I don't think they're out of place, especially coming from an 80's-era album. I found the use of keyboards much more distracting on Ultimate Sin. Was your review of No Rest for the Wicked the re-mastered version or original? I'm listening to the original release, so maybe the keys were bumped-up or louder on the re-mastered version? Just a thought. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Hah. It's been over 6 months, and this is the first time anyone have noticed Truth is I grew a bit tired off it. Add to that the facts that we have spent a lot of time with the fixing the house project this year, and I just haven't had the extra time. I'll try to make an update around Christmas time though. _________________ | |
