Saw the news on my Facebook feed. I had just looked at his photos on the innersleeve of The Numbers of the Beast album a few days before and thought, "I think every photo I've seen of him, he's smiling." He looked very happy in those photos but had a life with a lot of physical pain. Sad that he's gone now, but at least he is no longer suffering.
It sounds silly but I got into Iron Maiden when I was nine years old and I really liked Clive Burr because he looked the coolest! He was of course a fantastic drummer too.
