Rock of a different kind.

Some of you who know me from another forum know that I am interested in rocks. I am a self taught lapidary artist. I cut and polish rocks. I also try to sell them. Here are two that I just finished and the pictures do not really do them justice but from time to time if you all don't mind I will post pictures of completed work.

When I got this slab it was called Dogtooth Psilomelane. There might be some more pics in a couple of days, I still need to cut the cabs. The bottom cabochon is probably salable, but the top cab has that crack in it, I would only sell it with a disclaimer that I am not responsible if it cracks and reduce the price considerably. The pictures don't really do this material justice.

The crack makes it interesting. Like those tags on clothes that say each one is a little bit different.
