Was the album or artist or band that you listened to over the holidays that you have not heard in5, 10, 20, [???] years? For me, I just cranks the Crucified's Pillars of Humanity and bounced around my office for an hour or so.
Looks like right after this on my iTunes is Crucif*ck - Ubermensch. Looking forward to letting all this play out for a while!

I cranked the Del-Lords' "Based On A True Story".
I've had their "Best Of" comp for years and used to hear various tracks off this album back in the mid 80s when I worked in TN and listened to Vanderbilt's radio station. I didn't even know this thing ever received a proper CD release until a few weeks ago.
Once I got it last week, I cranked the hell out of it. This album is mostly known for the semi-hit "Judas' Kiss" but there's a lot more to it than that.

I played And Justice for All recently, can't remember the last time I played the whole album. Sounded pretty good.

I listened to "Doomsday For The Deceiver" over the holidays, first time I've heard that album since the late 80s. It was a fun nostalgic listen.

Pulled out everything I have from The Accused...was on some kind of weird Northwest breast beating trip and came out with everything else from the local scene that I could possibly think of. Something about their album art, lyric humor, etc is f*cking addicting.

Monster Magnet's Powertrip is getting a lot of spins from me recently. Of course, that could be due to the fact that I've been too lazy to swap out the CDs I've been carrying around in my knapsack for some fresh ones, so I've been listening to the same dozen or so for about the past two weeks

Tourniquet- PsychoSurgery and Believer - Dimensions. I have not listened to Dimensions since high school and it was ok but not mind blowing, still better than I remembered tho. I still prefer Sanity Obscure by a large margin. The Tourniquet album was amazing as usual. I need to spin this one WAAAAY more often than I do. It has been a few years since I have listened to it.

Oh, yeah, the thread: Listened to all of Overkills entire catalogue. Black Sabbath Mob Rules. Def Leppard High And Dry. A lot of Alice. Iron Maiden with Diano, and a ton of Juda Priest. The rest was non-metal like Don Felder, Gerry Rafferty, that sort of thing. Oh, and Donna Summers (I love the 'I feel Love' track.)
