Favorite Grave Digger Guitarist

I have found that Grave Digger fans are some of the truest metal fans around. Anyone who can listen to Boltendahl's vocals and enjoy it has to be true metal. Honestly, they are one of the greatest metal bands ever.

But which guitarist do you like the best? Masson from the first few albums, Uwe from the mid period or the present virtuoso, Manni Schmidt?

I personally am a huge fan of Manni Schmidt. I think his time in Rage was that band's best era and I personally think the same thing about his era with Grave Digger. A solid all around guitar player.

I have to agree that Manni Schmidt is the best guitarist Grave Digger have had, not to say that the other two weren't Great . . . Uwe had some great riffs on Heart of Darkness but Manni has a kick-ass sound and style . . . . he also kicked ass in Rage

I can't believe how few responses the GD posts get so i'm reviving one and we're going to talk about it. One of the best straight ahead metal bands out there and Chris has awesome metal vocals. It's nice to hear someone so unique and not in the Dickinson or Halford camps. My favorite album is Rheingold but they all rule.

My vote goes for Uwe. I like all of them, but just to me, Uwe had greater stuff.

Are they really not well liked in here?

All of them are good, but I like Uwe Lulis the most.
