| I agree about the Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, early Black Sabbath, Dio, and King's X. I would also add:
Rush: Fly By Night-Moving Pics Metallica: Kill Em All-Black Album Scorpions: (Pick an album from the 70's)-Blackout

I would extend that to the debut through Grace Under Pressure, but that's just my opinion.

| What about AC/DC? I will list the US releases in order, since that's what I grew up with:
High Voltage (76) Let There Be Rock (77) Powerage (78) Highway To Hell (79) Back in Black (80) Dirty Deeds (81 in US/76 elsewhere) For Those About To Rock (82)
Pretty good run!!!
Also agree with King's X, Slayer, Rush. Metallica had a great 5 album run (I'd include The Black Album as I like it and it was the last great Metallica album)

| Since we've been having fun at "The Geoff"'s expense, they did one helluva run:
EP The Warning Rage For Order O:MC Empire
I'll leave Promised Land off since that is open to debate.

Show No Mercy Haunting The Chapel (yeah, it's an EP, it still counts) Hell Awaits Reign In Blood South Of Heaven Seasons In The Abyss
Definitely. I would also add Divine Intervention to that, as I love it. South through Divine is the quintessential Slayer run for me. Also, about Slayer, I think it's impressive that they released all of the albums you listed with the same line up. They are the only big 4 thrash band to maintain the same line up throughout the 80s.

Alice Cooper-Killer Alice Cooper-School's Out Alice Cooper-Billion Dollar Babies I will boldly take it ten steps further and say Alice's run of greatness goes from Pretties for You through Welcome 2 My Nightmare. But if I have to break it down, I definitely agree with your list there, but add Muscle of Love and Welcome to My Nightmare. His next run of absolute (if not underrated) greatness, is Flush the Fashion through DaDa, and then his next, though nothing separates it from his last, other than a style change, is Constrictor through The Last Temptation.

I am huge Alice fanboy, while I like it, I felt the Alice band created a good album but not as good as those earlier discs on 'Muscle of Love'

| Aerosmith - Get Your Wings Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic Aerosmith - Rocks Aerosmith - Draw the Line Aerosmith - Night in the Ruts
Their s/t debut is a personal favorite of mine, but they didn't quite have their signature sound yet. And Rock In A Hard Place might have made the cut too, but I don't think it was very well-received in it's day. I think that one got better with age. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Excellent run and I personally would include their Stones like debut disc, thou I agree they did not completey capture their sound til 'Toys' which is still a kick ass rock n roll album

| Although their studio discography is short, Cinderella had a nice run...
Night Songs Long Cold Winter Heartbreak Station Still Climbing
All quality albums in my opinion. Not a bad one in the bunch. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.
