So any fans of this band on here? These guys are quickly becoming one of my favorite modern rock bands, can't wait for they're new album "Freakshow" next month!

I have All American Nightmare on CD. I like it. The lyrics to Hey Ho are pretty cool.

On first listen I didn't care for these guys at all, but upon seeing this thread, I gave a few videos a listen. They are better than I remember them being. I'll have to give these guys a second chance.

This is the 'hit' single from the new CD.
I have the new CD "Freakshow" and it's pretty bland and lifeless. I count six ballads, a few of which sound like they could be on some pop country station. A couple are just wretch-worthy and I couldn't even get through them. The rockers are fairly generic lacking any sort of good riffs. This band just doesn't do anything for me. Much like Nickleback and some of the other modern hard rock bands, I find them lacking and, quite frankly, boring.
Go ahead. I dare you to get through these three tracks. If these aren't not enough for you, there are three more ballads to chose from.

While I will admit there are a few ballads too many, I didn't have any problem getting through all of them, and I definitely prefer them over say Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home", which I never really liked much. For those who actually like Nickelback, the similarities aren't a bad thing.
BTW, those are the "pitched" versions of the songs, so Austin's voice sounds higher then it really is.

Take It to the Limit is good, All American Nightmare was one of my favorite albums in 2010, kinda 'ehh' about the new one, though there are a few songs on it I like. Too many country/pop moments for the most part. They are playing at a club here in town next month, might try to go.

Graduates from the Nickelback school of boring radio rock.
