| I usually go with the standards and the standard reasons behind those choices. Like: Jesus, Hitler, Bob Marley, my grandpa, etc.
So, beyond the standards, I think it would be super interesting to hang with Dennis Hopper. Why? C'mon! That guy has to have more interesting stories than Elvis! So, that is the first to cross my mind, so that is what I put.

| Alfred Hitchcock. It would be fascinating to just sit and listen to him talk, I'd love to hang out for an afternoon and hear him tell stories about some of his numerous classic films.

| Author James Herriot
Because I love the way that he wrote about his life and Veterinary practice. To have been able to spend a day with him and meet the people he interacted with and see the land he describes would have been really cool. I have no desire to be a Vet in any way, I am more interested in the people and the lifestyle.
Musician Keith Green
It would be really interesting to have spent a day with him when the budding Christian music industry was rejecting him and get to know his thoughts and feelings about it all.
Author Alistair Maclean
I love the way that he writes and to have met the man would be an honor. It is pretty much that simple.

| HP Lovecraft comes to mind. I'd like to tell him how many crappy movies have been made based on his work. | |

| Someone from the Board of Directors at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and see if they could reconsidder young Adolf's application and maybe look at his paintings again. C'mon, that's not so bad, is it? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

C'mon, that's not so bad, is it?
If they had the world would have been saved a lot of misery

| I'd love to hang with inventors during the onset of electricity and phone. Tesla, Bell etc.
C.S. Lewis is always my first choice though, hanging at the pub with pint.

| I'd like to fingerblast Marie Antoniette. Or maybe Cleopatra. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| George Carlin - cuz he's George Carlin. Duh.
Joey Ramone - I'd love to get a few drinks in him and ask, "So, is Johnny really a dick?" and watch him go off.
Phil Hartman -- just so I could listen to him talk in the "Actor Troy McClure" voice all day.

C.S. Lewis is always my first choice though, hanging at the pub with pint. I totally agree with C.S. Lewis also. He is one that occurred to me after I went to bed last night. I love the way that he writes, and I would love to (as said) have a pint and a theological discussion with him.

| Toss up between Graham Parsons and Teddy Roosevelt
Why ? Well Graham was just too interesting of an individual to not want to have a conversation with. Jamming on some music would of been a bonus, though not required.
Regarding Teddy......He was the "blueprint" for what was to come a few generations later. A biker and a hippie combines into one package. _________________

| Great question! Besides the basic - like Jesus and the ones mentioned above (some great ones already mentioned) I'd like to hang out with a highly mobile Aztec or Mayan leader who saw and did lots of things, and wasn't stuck in some throne room or in the fields. The Mesoamerican version of a Renaissance man, that's who. | |
