It's really good! Alan Lomax was a musicologist that went around to people who couldn't afford to get their music recorded, or weren't allowed to (being in prison). There are other collections of his, that I haven't gotten around to getting yet with recordings from all over the United States area and some of Latin America.

That was an immediate flop upon release, I'm pretty sure it's long out of print because of that. I had many chances to pick it up for $1 but didn't want to waste the money. LOL.

I haven't actually spun it yet; we're being inundated by the remnants of Isaac so I'm not going anywhere. Since I do almost all my CD listening in the car, it may be awhile before I spin this one. I had planned to pop it in the car when I went to the grocery store a few hours ago. Then the tornado sirens went off...no thanks.
