Lovewar

Lovewar was a band I liked back in the early 90s. They fell under the "Christian Rock" umbrella, but were far from preachy.

Musically, they reminded me of a blend of Extreme & King's X. The Soak Your Brain album on Pakaderm was awesome.

Didn't they put out an independent second album?

Never heard of them, got any sound samples?

Fantastic band! Good call on the description. I don't know anything about a second album, but Tim Bushong released 2 slammin versions of Christmas Carols (Do You See What I See, Oh Holy Night) on the Fleas Naughty Dog released through Rottweiler Records last year as a free DL. They are working on volume #3 for the upcoming holiday season.

I have the Soak Your Brain cd and a demo cassette from before their debut. Can't remember the name of it.

I never got into this band. I have a cassette that I only played once.

Tried to get into them when it first came out. Liked a few songs, but something just didn't gel with me. I'd need to hear it again to reevaluate, as I love Extreme and King's X.

I have this album...............and have never finished listening this album. Going to have to listen to it again and give it another chance.

Played it again, and the King's X/Extreme comparison is spot on. Excellent stuff!

Almost finished with the album - I really like it. Glad someone posted about this band.
