What's the weather today

The California heat wave has died down a little (after a very hot weekend), it's 79 right now.

Rainy, humid and miserable today.

Mostly cloudy with highs in the low 70s. "Starm" front supposed to come through tonight and give us highs in the 60s and lows in the low 40s/upper30s. My kinda weather!

Feels amazing outside after a day of nothing but rain for most of the day yesterday.

Actually had to wear a jacket to work this morning with the temp in the mid 40s. Low 70s and sunny this afternoon; another Chamber of Commerce day in the Lou. Still haven't turned on the heat yet but I was close this morning; it was 61 in my house when I woke up.

Thanks, we sure do. It's amazing how people's lawns have come back after one of the worst droughts around here in decades. A little regular rainfall and stuff is perking right up. Too bad it's too little too late for all the farmers around here.

It almost never rains here, the last time we had a good rain was probably back in like March or so. Last year it rained some in October and November, but that was about it.

The only way to keep a lawn going is to water it. I also have a feeling that's why palm trees are the most common, they can survive for long periods without rain.

I have an inground sprinkler so I ran it all summer. I have the only really green lawn in the neighborhood but I'm not sure it's worth it. My water bill for July was over $200.
