Thought i'd take some random albums from my collection and review them. They wont be all metal (and in some extreme cases, arent even rock) but i think it'd be interesting to do. First one up, Great White-Once Bitten
1. Lady Red Light-Pretty good opener with a great anthemic chorus. Love the intro as well 2. Gonna Getcha-Nothing special really, kind of eh 3. Rock Me-The most well known song from this album. Didnt care for this on the first listen, but later listens caused this song to grow on me. Great guitar solo near the end as well 4. All Over Now-Cool bluesy track, kind of reminds me of Faster Pu$$ycat or LA Guns for some reason (though the vocals are cleaner of course) 5. Mistreater-Even more bluesy than the previous track and pretty much foreshadows the direction they'd take on future albums 6. Never Change Heart- More of a commercial rocker, decent track 7. Fast Road-As the title indicates, this is a fast-paced speedy rocker. Great driving song 8. On The Edge-Ok song, but kind of generic 9. Save Your Love-The big ballad to end the album. Sounds much different from the typical ballads of the era.
Fav tracks: Lady Red Light, Rock Me, All Over Now, Fast Road Least fav tracks: Gonna Getcha
Feel free to comment on the review or the album itself.

Time for another one. Aerosmith-Nine Lives
1. Nine Lives-Prety good opener. Lots of good guitar work in this song, definitely underrated as aerosmith songs go. 2. Falling in Love (is so hard on the knees)-This is ok, though im not a big fan of horn sections in hard rock songs (with a few exceptions). Could have been better if it was heavier 3. Hole In My Soul-Typical 90s Aerosmith ballad. Steven does have a good vocal performance on this song, so i'll give it that 4. Taste of India- I know a lot of people like this song, but i never got into the whole "middle eastern guitar" thing that rock and metal bands like to experiment with. I can appreciate what they were trying to do, but i cant get into this 5. Full Circle- I like this song with its sing-along chorus, but this is about as far removed from hard rock as this album gets (at least up to this point) 6. Somethings Gotta Give-Good to see a heavier song after all that. Kind of generic, but still i like the harder sound 7. Aint That A B****. The third ballad of the album. Still, probably the best of them since its still got some attitude 8. The Farm- I used to dig this song, but for some reason it doesnt do much for me now, though the lyrics are interesting 9. Crash-Another harder rocker. Better than SGG, and again, its a shame Aerosmith couldnt make a whole album like this. 10. Kiss your past goodbye-Ballad number FOUR. Nothing special about this one 11. Pink-Cant stand this song at all. Way too cutesy, and has ZERO to do with rock 12. Attitude Adjustment- Good, but not great 13. Fallen Angels- The FIFTH ballad of the album. Its good for what it is, but like pink and full circle has zilch to do with rock. You may think that i dont care for this album from this review. I still like it, but it could have been MUCH better. They should have done more heavier songs or at least make it as good as the title track.

Disturbed-Indestructible
1. Indestructible-Great song, definitely a classic for this band 2. Inside the Fire-Another Disturbed classic, love the riffing in this song. Lyrics are interesting as well 3. Deciever-Musically ok, but it seems to be missing something 4. The Night-This song is a favorite among fans, but i dont care for it that much, though the slightly more melodic chorus is ok. 5. Perfect Insanity-After a song with a (somewhat) slower tempo, this is more like it, fast-paced song complete with that weird animal thing dave does in the beginning 6. Haunted-Awesome rapid-fire riffing in this track, only stopping for the chorus (which admittedly isnt as good as the verses) 7. Enough-Starts off kind of average, but the melodic chorus saves it 8. The Curse-Ok song, but nothing special 9. Torn-Dave sings in a lower key in this song, which is kind of interesting 10. Criminal-Good song with some more machine-gun riffing. Generic but good 11. Divide-Much stronger than the last couple songs. Awesome solo as well 12. Facade-Not the best choice for an album closer, as it sounds more like something from the middle of the album While this isnt my favorite Disturbed album (that honor goes to 10 thousand fists), this is pretty good as well, but it could have been much stronger, especially afther the one-two punch it starts off with

Tyketto-Dont Come Easy
1. Forever Young- Great, anthemic opener, melodic but still powerful. One of the most underrated hair metal songs of all time 2. Wings- Much lighter than the opener, but still an excellent AOR song 3. Burning Down Inside- This is a hidden gem. Great melodic rocker that should have been released as a single. Love the chorus 4. Seasons-Starts off as a acoustic flavored ballad before kicking into gear as a midtempo rocker. Not bad at all 5. Standing Alone-Not a big fan of this song, nothing really stands out IMO 6. Lay Your Body Down- Not a fan of this one either, sounds more like something off of a Danger Danger album, though Danny Vaughn does have a good vocal performance admittedly. 7. Walk On Fire-Now this is more like it. Mixes acoustic and electric just like Seasons, but is better 8. Nothing But Love- Great guitar work on this song. Like several other tracks its got a acoustic/electric mix that seems to work well for this band 9. Strip Me Down- Attempt at sleazy hair metal that just doesnt work for this band at all. Theyre much better at melodic rockers 10. Sail Away-Midtempo rocker with another excellent vocal performance. Great closing track

I've heard much good talk up on Tyketto, but I've ever really checked them out before.
