| Yeah Nazareth are brilliant, although looking at their career as a whole its a bit hit and miss. My favourite album would be Razamanaz (1973). Dan McCafferty having one of the nastiest snarling vocals you'll hear, no wonder this guy was probably the single biggest influence on the distinctive singing style of Axl Rose. And to put it quite simply Appetite For Destruction era Guns N' Roses was basically '77 Punk meets '73 Nazareth. | |

| Razamanaz is a great on! Of course, it doesn't get more classic than Hair of the Dog. I also love No Mean City. Probably their most metallic album and their best cover art for sure.

| I was never a huge fan in the old days, despite the fact that fellow Scotsman Zal Cleminson (from SAHB) played guitar for them for a few albums. However I recently got a DVD of their vintage stuff, and it rocks! A great live band. It's funny what you can learn about, even in old age. | |

| Thanks for the mention of Alex Harvey. People remember them as a novelty act; but their metal pedigree isn't well remembered. In addition to Zal Cleminson being in Nazareth, the rythym section of Ted McKenna & Chris Glen were the backbone of MSG. They also did some work with Ian Gillan and Rory Gallagher. Also, before Alex joined the band, they were called Tear Gas, one of the loudest bands in the world at that time. | |

| Right you are on all counts SAHB! Many Tear Gas songs made their way onto SAHB without Alex- Fourplay, including Bad Boy later to be on Naz's Malice in Wonderland album!
Chris Glen and Ted Mckenna have most recently appeared on Austrailian Blues Rocker Gwyn Ashton's new album!
A couple years ago Zal put SAHB back together for shows and a live album (Zalvation) with a punk named Max on vocals! I did not like it!!!
Anyway, thanks for responding to my post SAHB! What is your fav album from Alex & the Boys? Mine is Tomorrow Belongs To Me!

ult pretty much agree there. I grew up on those albums as a kid, as well as Loud 'n' Proud.

| By the way at that show I was standing directly in front of the stage, Pete Agnew just in front of me. At the end of the concert I caught the drum stick of Lee Agnew. I gave it to my son who was with me. He was very proud about it and keeps it as a treasure. | |

| ghost, I think it is very cool you take your son to RnR shows! I've been taking my boy since he was 8! He's 19 now!!! Ain't it awesome that Pete's son took over for the late Darrell Sweet?!!! | |

| Play N the Game is another great one , spirit!!!
Tall, the Fool Circle was a very good album, but a bit of a decline that would plague them for many years as they began to chase another hit!

- Man, I had forgotten about this gem until recently when a friend sent me his autographed vinyl copy. What a great album. Picked up the Snapper Classics re-issue on CD as well. Probably one of the nicer reissues I've seen. Nice digi format with a thick booklet, all the original liner notes and photos and more.
That's cool. My friends never send me anything. Jerks. Time to get some new friends.
