I got that CD last week from a co-worker who was cleaning out his CD shelf and was kind enough to let me pick thru his castoffs before he dumped'em on Craigslist. I used to have it on cassette back in the day but it's been a good 20 years since I last heard it. It was funny, when I glanced thru the booklet at first I wondered "Why are there only lyrics to two songs?" ... then I remembered, there are ONLY two songs with lyrics/vocals, the rest is instrumental. Haha.

I don't hear much similarity between DiMeola and Malmsteen, except for both of their tendencies to over-play everything.
