| Kidding.
This does have a bit to do with Sum 41, though. I'd bet most of you only know the band for their pop punk hits, but on all of their albums but the latest there have been a few metal songs. Not punky metal songs, straight up metal. Seriously. This was due to the guitarist (not the singer, the Indian dude, or whatever he is). Anyway, he was into metal. I guess it's cool that he rode along with his friends and played punk and got rich, but he quit a while back.
He then formed the Brown Brigade. Stupid name, I know, but I guess he's known as the "brown guy" or something. Anyway, they're releasing an album soon, and while it doesn't sound all that original, it is pretty cool. Old school metal?

| I'll check this out a little later. I actually found their last album pretty fun for when I was in one of those moods to listen to something a little different, especially the Battery rip-off song. | |

| Never thought much of Sum 41 till a couple of years ago, when they played one of the MTV awards shows and jammed on "Shout At The Devil" with Tommy Lee and a Priest song (forget which one off the top of my head) with Rob Halford. The Sum 41 kids looked like they were in their glory sharing the stage with those guys. It was pretty cool. I've since noticed that in one of their songs there's a lyric that goes "Priest and Maiden are the bands we praise" ... so they're all right by me. | |

| I like the song Sum41 does with Iggy Pop. Honestly the few songs I have heard on the radio have been humerous and fun so really they aren't to bad. |

| Sum 41 has always been a good punk band, but it is surprising when you hear them bust out a metal tune because they did it well. If you're interested, download these songs (I know you don't want to buy them... Haha!): Grab The Devil By The Horns And [Boink] Him Up The [Pooper] Ride The Chariot To The Devil Pain For Pleasure (the video is great) Reign In Pain WWVII Parts 1 & 2 The Bitter End (total "Battery" rip off, but really good) |

Those are their metal songs, and they're damn good, if you ask me. Especially "Reign In Pain" and "WWVII Parts 1 & 2." "The Bitter End" is also pretty killer, but it's really a rip-off of "Battery." Haha. |

| I liked the myspace songs, good stuff (better than what he was doing with his old band), the stuff on the zipped folder sounded different..except for like two songs. | |
